The Ins and Outs of Our Products

The Ins and Outs of Our Products

A fact that always seems to surprise people when we tell them, is that we make our products ourselves here at Eden Organics.

It may come as a shock, but nowadays, it's extremely hard to find brands that actually formulate, test, and create their own products themselves. In line with our ethos, it's important to us that we give you as a consumer, full transparency in regards to what it is exactly you're putting on/in your bodies.

So where do we start?

The beginning of the process is probably my most difficult task. It consists of brainstorming intentions and then sourcing ingredients that serve the purpose of that intention. For example, wanting to create our newest bath soak "Inhale" - I knew I wanted to create something that soothed and slowed the breath in order to maximise relaxation.

The second step is to source local and organic ingredients that allow me to achieve that intention. We have a number of local Australian suppliers that I reach out to depending on whether my need is herbal, floral, powdered or salts.

Once those ingredients arrive at our office, it's time to play around with ratios and formulas to create the perfect blend that both actively serves it's purpose and looks and smells aesthetically pleasing - adding to that luxurious self-care feeling that we're all about. We try and test the products on ourselves - no animals were harmed in the making of our collections!

Only once we're 100 percent in love with our product and confident that it serves it's intention, we package it in customised, reusable packaging that is then added to our online store for you to purchase and enjoy.

We hope you've enjoyed this little piece on the process of making our products. If you have any questions about any of our products, you can always send us a DM or email with your concerns and we'll do our best to help you make an informed decision on your purchases.
